Program & Schedule
Kennolyn is dedicated to making a difference in campers’ lives. With only 50 campers, ALL counselors know ALL campers by name, and what makes them tick. Our tight-knit, flexible, fun-focused environment allows campers to develop relationships and learn lifelong skills. It gives them a much-needed antidote to digital life through active, face-to-face, communal living guided by our well-trained staff. Our campers…
- Become their best self
- Love nature
- Take initiative
- Try new things
- Make new friends
- Respect the uniqueness of others
- Grow socially, physically, and mentally
Our typical day starts at 7:15am. After a hot breakfast on the dining deck with the Family Group, it’s time to get ready for the day’s activities. Two activity periods are followed by lunch. As lunch draws to a close, campers pick activities for the next day. Once done, it’s off to Camp Siesta – back to the cabin for some quiet time, letter writing, or napping. We then have two activity periods followed by Family Hour where groups choose an activity together. After Family Hour, groups enjoy dinner together before embarking on the special evening activity.
